Terms & Conditions
In accordance with the rules, terms and conditions below, Builder’s Briefcase of Massachusetts, LLC (“BB-MA”) shall admit the registered Professional CSL holder (the "Professional") to the following Massachusetts Division of Occupational Licensure Continuing Education Construction Supervisor License renewal course (the “course”) per 780 CMR 1110.R5.4:

Upon successful completion of the course, BB-MA shall provide the Professional with a Certificate of Course Completion, and provide the state licensing authority with proof of same, for 12 hours of continuing education (4 hours code review, 1 hour workplace safety, 1 hour business practices, 1 hour energy, 1 hour lead safety, 4 hours elective).

BB-MA’s course fee is $295.00 (Two Hundred Ninety Five Dollars), to be paid to BB-MA by the Professional prior to course enrollment, via credit card. All fees are non-refundable, except per the Refund & Cancellation Policy and as may be required by law.

BB-MA will not share the Professional’s identity or account information with any other individuals, entities or third-parties not legally entitled to such information.

The Professional shall be present in the classroom during the above-mentioned hours, except for lunch/break time, as announced by the instructor, and a 15’ start-time grace period. The instructor reserves the right to monitor the Professional’s attendance and, at the instructor’s sole discretion, refuse to provide the Professional with a Certificate of Course Completion, without refund. There is no partial completion or partial award of continuing education credits.

The Professional shall refrain from the following activities during the course presentation: verbal interruptions of the instructor or other students; speaking on their telephone; making noises or sounds that are disruptive; failing to cooperate with course instructor requests; and any other conduct which a reasonable person would deem disruptive, inappropriate or unprofessional.

The Professional shall not copy, reproduce, sell or distribute any of the material and content received from BB-MA. The Professional shall not audio or video record the course or any classroom activities.

Failure by the Professional to abide by any of the rules, terms and conditions, or acting in contravention to same, is a breach of this agreement, is grounds for good cause termination of this Agreement by BB-MA and the Professional’s suspension and immediate expulsion from the course and the classroom (and all future courses). In such instances, the Professional is not eligible to receive any continuing education credits and shall not receive any fee refund.

Though the course is legal in nature, the Professional understands and agrees that BB-MA and/or its manager, John L. McGowan, are not the Professional’s attorney and do not provide legal services, legal advice or legal counsel to the Professional. BB-MA provides law-related services (See Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court’s Rules of Professional Conduct, 5.07). As such, there is no attorney/client relationship, or any associated privileges or duties, between the Professional and BB-MA.
